Finally

I have chosen this day to actually begin entries into this blog. This site has been in place since Oct. 2004 and apparently 473 people have visited, either lost or trying to figure out something about me, in response to my commenting on other sites. It must be time to start something, probably of little value.

Actually, I have been 'under the weather' for the last couple of days and have been sitting around with this electronic marvel on my lap. The Belmont Club provided an enormous amount of reading today, the Netwar post, and a response to my comments made me realize how bare this blog is. So I have decided to take up a little space in the 'ether'. My daughter would be surprised. I may tell her, one of these days.

Time has been a continual problem, as running a small business and actually insisting on being an Engineer, on top of managing, is time consuming. I also spend more time than my wife cares for in reading a number of blogs. Most are for news and analysis of the events in this world. Very few of my usual daily site visits are to 'engineering type' or even business related urls.

We shall see where this goes.
